Kids Korner
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the support of our banks and the support for our Tamale sale. With the money we receive, we are able to purchase baskets, candy and stuffed animals to put into our Easter baskets for the children at the Church By the Lake, as well as, our own children at CCH. Thank you to Judy Leese for the purchase of a new flannel board for Preschool.

On March 15th the children went to the Agoura Senior Center and performed for the residents. They sang the song, "Danny Boy', and recited two Irish poems written by one of our students. We also made St. Patrick's door hangers for the residents as well. As I was watching the children perform, I almost began to cry. They showed so much love for the seniors and it was returned to the children.

Women’s Walk
Life is a Journey!
Saturday — April 29th: Hello, Ladies of CCH! Let’s plan to take a few strides together on Saturday, April 29th. Nancy Fleming is picking a local, easy, hiking trail for us to enjoy the outdoors while we work on a few muscle groups. (We’ll have a rainy day alternative.) Following the hike, we will meet at CCH to enjoy a picnic style lunch (ordered sandwiches). We’ll be blessed as our own Kathy Newman will share her personal spiritual journey. We’ll stretch our spiritual muscles as we pack our backpacks with the essentials. Questions? See Deanna Carter and save the date! |
