Worship Service Follow-up Ministry
We have several volunteers already, thank you!! We’d like a couple more so that no one needs to be scheduled more than once-a-month. The idea is to stay 10-15 minutes after the service and tidy up—such as: Pick up bulletins off the seats, throw away communion cups left on the floor or chairs, put Bibles back in the seat shelf, etc. Please let us know in the office if you can help once-a-month.
Need musicians and worship singers.

Outreach to single moms
Please drop off your donations for the single moms gift boxes as soon as possible. These boxes will be given to the Women’s Resource Center in Thousand Oaks for the moms that attend their support group.
Kathy Patton needs to assemble the shoe boxes next week. PLEASE bring all items this Sunday. Deadline is May 6th.
Needed : toiletry items, small gifts, makeup, nail polish, etc.

Moms/Daughters
Angeles Crest’s annual event for girls Kindergarten and older with their moms is on May 18-20 and June 1-3 . Flyers are on the table as you exit in the lobby. A sign up sheet is there for carpooling as well. Both dates are being attended by some from CCH, if you have any questions do not hesitate to call the church office.
Project Nehemiah is a volunteer work weekend for adults, youth and children at Angeles Crest Christian Camp. This work weekend is designed to repair and renovate our buildings, to landscape the camp grounds, and to prepare the camp for the upcoming summer season. It’s a chance to join together as the Angeles Crest family to keep our facilities in tip-top shape!!
The Date: Saturday, May 12th will be the main work day. You may also come up on Friday night, May 11th if you would like so that you're ready to go on Saturday morning. Please let us know if you are planning to come up on Friday evening so we can make arrangements for sleeping over.
Cost: $20 per individual or a maximum of $60 per family. Three meals will be provided on Saturday. (The registration cost will help us to cover our food expenses)
Schedule : Saturday will start with breakfast at 8:00 a.m. followed by work projects until noon. Lunch will be served followed by afternoon work projects. The day will end with dinner @ 6:30 p.m.
Work Projects
There are many different projects that you can be involved in. Whether you are skilled in the trades or just a willing volunteer there is a place for you. Projects include: Carpentry, Plumbing, Painting, Gardening/Landscaping, Brush/Fire Clearance, Electrical, General Cleaning, General repairs
What to Bring
Please bring work clothes and gloves for the day (wear work clothes that you don't mind if they get paint or other materials on them). Any of the following tools or hardware you can bring will be helpful: ladders, shovels, rakes, brooms, weed-eaters, tools (screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, etc.), power tools (saws, drills, etc.), extension cords, paint sprayers.
