After a great summer, the Children’s Ministry is getting back into the swing of things with our new fall program. There are lots of exciting changes that are happening that will make the Children’s Ministry better than ever.

First, we have a new name. The Pathfinders will be a group that teaches a:

P ersonal relationship with God

A ctions, attitude & service for God

T elling others about Jesus Christ

H eart of worship

We will accomplish these points through Bible studies, community service and worship.

Our Wednesday night group also has some changes. The time will be changing to 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday night group will include special activities like live worship night with our own Youth Pastor, Ryan Reed. We will also have an art class once a month lead by Kitty Lewis. In addition, we will be taking trips to the local senior center to visit and perform some songs.

We are looking forward to our new fall program and hope to see you there.

Hey All,

WOW!!! Summer just flew by, I can’t believe that I’ve been here for 3 months already. Crazy.

So we have some awesome things coming up, that I’m really excited about. On Sunday September 10 th we have the Fall Kickoff. You know what that means? THE NEW YOUTH ROOM IS DONE!!!!! It’sbeen a lot of work, but we are excited to reveal it. Also we are starting some new things with teaching on Sunday mornings— we are going to be talking about Jesus Loving Us. After church we have the all church picnic at Malibou Lake, it’s gonna be awesome!

On September 27 th, we have the See You at the Pole Rally. This is an opportunity to meet with fellow students before school around your flag pole to pray and show your peers that you aren’t afraid to show your faith.

Don’t forget as well, this Friday, September 8 th, we have a Pool Party at the Schafer’s at 4:30!
