Men's Breakfast
Imprisoned in Egypt for
Being a Christian
Special Guest Speaker: Nabil Bissadu Saturday, October 21 at 8:30 a.m.
Feed them and they will come! All men are invited to belly up to the trough at 8:30 a.m. Breakfast will be followed by a few praise songs and our special guest speaker.
We are pleased that Mr. Nabil Bissadu has agreed to share with us his personal testimony. Nabil was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. He is married and has two children and is very happy to be living in the "land of the free" - the United States of America. Nabil was a very successful international businessman before leaving his homeland for America. He will share with us how he was imprisoned in Egypt for six months for his faith in Jesus Christ.
Please invite your friends to this incredible outreach. Sign up in the church lobby so we have enough food!! $5 each at the door.

Holiday Boutique
Unfortunately we have had to cancel the boutique this year. There are conflicts with other craft fairs in the area that weekend which kept some of the vendors from committing to ours.
We'll try again next year!
Kudos
A special thank you this month to Jerry Adams who power washed the church building facing the parking lot. it looks great. Jerry & Lela do a lot to maintain the outside planters as well. And another great big thank you to Steve & Drew Lewis for all their help remodeling the youth room with Ryan! Drew is off to the Navy-pray for him and his service to our country.

From the Pastor
By Dave Crouse
Hello CCH Family!!
We're well into the fall season and I hope you're enjoying life as God brings His blessings to you! I want to encourage each one of you to keep growing in your faith as you follow the Lord Jesus on the path of life. Here are six action words that should be a part of your spiritual life if you want to keep growing in your faith.
Worshipping - Are you consistently attending worship services and worshipping your Father in heaven with other Christians?
Serving - Are you using your natural talents and abilities as well as your spiritual gifts to serve God and the church?
Giving - Are you giving a percentage of your income to God's work to honor Him and honor His kingdom?
Studying - Are you consistently reading and studying God's word and meeting with other Christians in a Bible Study?
Sharing - Are you stretching your faith by inviting others to church and by being a faithful witness in your words and actions?
Praying - Are you involving the power of God in your life by actively praying for your needs and the needs of those around you?
Which one of these are you the strongest in? Continue to keep doing well in that area so it remains a basis for your faith. Which one of these is your weakest?
Take action now toward strengthening that part in your life. Let's continue to work toward growing up in all things unto Christ just as the apostle Paul encourages us to do. "until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:13
I love you all,
Pastor Dave
