Kids Korner
by Amber George
Hi Everyone,

December is going to be a little different. I am having to play nurse and mom to my baby, Faith, at the hospital. As most of you know already, Faith’s hand was burned badly on Friday, November 24th. We’re at the Grossman Burn Center awaiting a few procedures to clean the hand and treat the more serious burn areas. If all goes well, God willing, I will be able to be part of some fun Christmas events in a couple of weeks.
Faith is doing very well; and, except for the hand, she is acting very normally. In the meantime, please keep us in your prayers for successful treatments and healing.
Adam set up a website to keep our friends and family informed of her progress. If you’d like to see pictures and read updates, you can visit the site at: www.pleasehelpfaith.com
Pat Henkel has offered to fill in for me and make sure that all the children’s lessons and teachers are in place. And many of you have offered to teach extra classes to help out. Thank you all!

WOW!!!
Well the greatest month of the year is already here and I can’t believe it. Why is it the greatest month of the year you ask? Besides the obvious, Christmas, snow, Jesus and all of that stuff, it’s also the month that contains my BIRTHDAY!!! Yes, I know you are all as excited as I am.
Anyway, it’s also got some great activities going on and starts off our winter time together. So coming up we have the Lock-In on December 1, this will lead us into the hanging of the greens, it will be a great time of fun, fellowship and little sleep. Then in January we have the High School trip to Mammoth Mountain to snowboard, this is going to be awesome: snow, cold, and a bunch of people worshipping Jesus— it will be great.
And then on February 2 we leave for the Jr. High Winter Camp at Angeles Crest, it’s going to be amazing.
Can’t believe that Winter is finally here, you know what else that means…. the school year is half over!!!!
Blessings, Ryan
Word from the Elders
by Randy Olson
God bless each of you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! During this Holiday season we are all reminded that God so loved that He gave his only begotten Son to each of us (John 3:16). This season is certainly a time of giving to family, friends and others. One reason people are happier this time of year is the fact they are thinking about others.
There will be several opportunities for us to give to others this month, including at the church. Let us remember that “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” (Galatians 6:10). Please know that all of the elders stand willing and able to give to you!
