 News for the New Year
Happy New Year to all of you! We had some ups and downs during 2006, but have rebounded and have a great 2007 to look forward to!
Why?
1) Our Senior Pastor search is over as we have Pastor Dave Crouse officially hired as our Senior Pastor!
2) We have hired Duane Dolieslager as our new Worship leader! Welcome Duane!
3) We have 3 new Elders coming on board in Dave Barrett, Adam George and Jerry Olson to help guide us in the new year!
4) We are blessed to retain the solid and stable talents of Lori George, Ryan Reed and Amber George as our loyal and gifted staff.
5) We are blessed with a congregation chock full of volunteers who literally give ‘til it hurts...and then give some more!
6) Finally I, Chris Miuccio, will sadly be stepping down as Chairman of our Elder board....but GLADLY being hired as a part-time "Pastoral Intern" !!! As most of you know, I am currently enrolled in the BOLD program at Biola university and have a desire to become a Senior Pastor one day. In this new position at CCH, I will be learning more about pastoral leadership and helping to manage the various events, classes, details, outreaches and other parts of ministry at CCH to help us grow!
We are all excited about the new year with new ideas for outreach as well as nurturing our current members. 2007 promises to be an exciting year for us — so join in as we keep our eyes fixed on heaven in 2007!

Hello CCH Family!!!
First of all I want to say “thank you” for allowing me the opportunity to minister here at Christian Church of the Hills. I consider it a privilege to serve you and to serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I’m very excited as we enter the year with new staff members and a fresh outlook for the future! More than anything I hope we can communicate to our community that Christian Church of the Hills is a church that anyone can come to, and a family that anyone can belong to.
My goals for the future are simple: to passionately fulfill the five purposes of the church. We will continue to look for better ways for this congregation to be effective in...
Magnification – lifting up the name of Jesus in all we do
Membership – helping people to find CCH as a place to belong
Maturity – provide opportunities for people to grow in the knowledge of our Lord
Ministry – releasing people to use their God-given gifts to serve God and others
Mission – reach our local neighborhood and beyond with the gospel of Jesus Christ
Christian Church of the Hills is a fantastic church and there are a lot of opportunities for you to be involved. Let me encourage you to take the next step in your growth as a disciple of our Lord. That might be to begin reading the Bible more often, or attend a Bible study, or find a way to help serve in the church, or to begin inviting your friends and neighbors to the church. Step out in faith and ask the Lord to open new doors in your spiritual life. Begin to seek Him in all things and watch the excitement grow in your life!
