Kids Korner

Happy February everyone.
We are well into the new year and the Children's Ministry has a lot of new things coming up. We are once again starting up our Wednesday night Pathfinders group this month. Our first meeting will be on February 7th andwill be a special event outside of church. But, this is top secret so parents... no telling the kids. The event will be a special time for this night only: 6:45-8:30 p.m.
We will also be having our Wednesday night meetings at a new time. The kids will get together from 7:00-8:00 p.m. that way any parents who would like to attend the adult bible study don't have to worry about where their kids will be.
We will also be adding a monthly art class on Wednesday nights with Miss Kitty very soon. More details to follow.
The kids have just finished their study on prayer and are starting the new series on prophets for the month of February. It is sure to be a learning experience.
Also, don't forget... Valentine's candy. The last day to order is Wednesday the 7th and pick-up will be Sunday the 11th. So, get those last minute orders in.

Wednesday: 7 p.m. at CCH Led by Pastor Dave, (991-1929) this class is studying the book of Ephesians. |
Youth News

Hey Everyone,
I hope you all are having a great month. It’s been exciting here at CCH with tons of fun stuff going on. We just got back from our Mammoth trip and it was a blast. Sledding, snowball fights, good food, new friends, great worship and an awesome speaker; all made up our weekend. We had such a good time that we couldn’t stop talking about it on the way home. Now we are getting ready for Jr. High Camp which promises to be just as exciting and fun. If you missed out this year be sure to come next year. Also if you haven’t been to youth group lately you sure are missing out, we have grown like crazy and are having a blast. Stop by for some fun and fellowship. Also be checking your mailboxes for information on awesome upcoming events.

Church by the Lake
Steve Lewis continues to go to the Church usually on the 4th Sunday of the month. He will let us know a week or so ahead of time to remind you to help make sandwiches on the morning they go down. He likes to buy the supplies and get the workers to help make them after church. Donations to help Steve pay for the lunches past and future are most appreciated—as well as people to go and help serve!!

Angeles Crest Christian Camp Resurrection Celebration 2007:
their annual Easter worship event for senior adults will be Thursday, March 29 at the Holiday Inn and Conference Center in Buena Park at 10:15 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. There will be a program flyer on the bulletin board by mid-February for information to sign up.
Life Line Health Screening
