Women’s Lunch

Saturday, May 5 , 11:00 a.m . our guest speaker is Lisa Smith who spoke recently at the Calvary Community Church women’s retreat. Our theme is “New Beginnings” - you always have the opportunity to start anew with the Lord! Lunch will be provided. Cost $6. Call Lori if you have not signed up, 991-8495.

Men’s breakfast

Saturday, May 19th at 8:30 a.m. Keith Poletiek will be the guest speaker. Keith is the Marketing Director for Angeles Crest Christian Camp. He brings to the position eighteen years of practical experience in working with youth and being a part of camping ministry. Keith has been a traveling speaker on the camp and church circuit for the past 22 years. He is a popular speaker for men's retreats, father/son camps and youth camps. Keith's creative stories and humorous approach to sharing the Gospel make him a favorite among all ages.  Keith lives in Huntington Beach with his wife Tina, his son Noah and daughter Miranda.

Mother’s Day

Sunday, May 13th Invite-a-mom-to-worship day. Each mom will receive a gift and recognition, along with a prayer for them. The message that morning will be “A Mother’s Day Makeover”.

The next trip down to help with the church and the lunch is on Sunday, May 20 . Steve Lewis plans to go and would love company. He also will be planning to bring lunches as usual.
