Church in Chumash Park

Sunday, June 24

11:00 a.m.

This will be an outreach to the community to visit CCH right in their own surroundings.

The day at the park will include:

• 11:00 a.m. Worship Service
• 12:00 p.m. Free BBQ lunch
• Games and activities for children, young and old.

This is a great opportunity for you to bring a friend to church. We’ll have invitations printed and ready for you to hand out to friends, neighbors and leave at local stores and businesses.

Bring : Lawn chairs and / or blankets for the BBQ lunch after the service.

Needed:

• Chili makers—we’ll have a variety of chili made by our CCH family… please let MaryAnn know if you will make a pot of chili for the lunch!
• Volunteers to help on June 24th
• Donations toward this outreach

Lunch at Angel Café

Our quarterly outing to lunch together after the service on Sunday, June 10th is coming up quickly. I hope you will plan to be there and take advantage of this opportunity to get better acquainted with others from Christian Church of the Hills. You are also welcome to invite a friend!

The cost of the lunch menu items is around $10. Please save the date!

Angel Café is on the corner of Kanan Road and Thousand Oaks Blvd. in the Vons shopping center.

Prayer Day

Saturday, June 9

7:00 a.m.—7:00 p.m.

Please sign up on the sign up board in the lobby to pray for 1/2 to 1 hour during our 12 hours of prayer.

Prayer is powerful and CCH wants to continue to seek God’s guidance and blessings. You can pray for one hour, or come in and pray for 1/2 hour, or any length you choose. You will never be here alone, since Chris Miuccio plans to be here all 12 hours. Prayer captains and prayer warriors wanted!

Father’s Day

Don’t miss another great day at CCH when we honor the dads in the morning service. There will be gifts for the dads, as well as a prayer for them. Maybe we can find a song or two with “Father” in it? Father, I adore You ; Faith of Our Fathers… well you get the idea!
