Book of Ruth Dramatization
We hope you’ll be here on Sunday, May 4th at 9:30 a.m. (and invite a few friends) for an incredible one-woman drama of the book of Ruth. “Karen Wescott presents this account as a storyteller, stepping into each role and giving a rich performance of the humor, frailties and strengths of these Old Testament characters.” This is great for the entire family!
Mother’s Day

 We’ve always tried to make this a special treat for all moms, and this year will be no exception. From the message Pastor Dave will preach, to the recognition of all the moms, it will be a great day to be here and to bring any moms you know.
Volunteers Needed
Refreshment Volunteer Needed
We need to have someone bring the refreshments for our “before” church coffee table on the 3rd Sunday of the month—every other month. That person would also need to cleanup the table after church. If you are willing to help out, please see Kathy Newman, or write on your Welcome Card.
Worship Slide Volunteer
needed once a month. We are flexible with the schedule (working around everyone’s many commitments). But with the Prieger’s moving away for a year and scouting events, the volunteer pool is getting slim. If you have any computer experience, it’s an easy program to learn! Let Lori know, please.

How can my purchases help CCH?
You may remember our explaining the e-scrip program to you recently. This is just a reminder that if you haven’t signed up, we’d love for you to do that. Your purchases at many stores will give a donation to CCH without costing you a penny. It’s simple to sign up, and you don’t have to do anything else after that. There are packets in the lobby at CCH with complete details on how to make your grocery store purchases and others go toward our church.
If you’d like assistance signing up, Lori or Chris will be happy to help you out. Don’t hesitate to call!
Garage Sale II the Sequel
May 3rd from 7:00 a.m.—11:00 a.m. 
Back by popular demand, and because we still have soooo much stuff, we will hold a 2nd garage sale and hope to sell a good portion of the items we have displayed in the Youth Room. The proceeds will go toward our Church in the Park outreach (still in the planning stages for June 20th).
HELP is NEEDED!!!
We’ll need people here to sell the items on Saturday, please. If you can, set some time aside to be here between 7:00 and 11:00 a.m. We can use some boxes to put things in that don’t sell — for a pickup next week .
