We are currently making hats for chemo patients !

Our next meeting will be on Thursday, May 22nd (date changed), at 7:00 p.m. Anyone who wishes to help make items is welcome!! We love teaching, helping, and encouraging one another!! (Note: suggestion for caps: make some out of cotton yarn for the heat of the summer!)

Care boxes for Single Moms

LAST DAY TO BRING in items for the single mom support group in Thousand Oaks is Sunday, May 4th . We still need new toiletry and gift items (no hair products—we have plenty), shoe boxes and wrapping paper.

We need help boxing the items on Tuesday, May 6th. We’ll meet at Kathy Patton’s house, 28821 Garnet Hill Court in Agoura at 6:00 pm.  We need a little more wrapping paper as well. Kathy can answer your questions.

GO M.A.D.

The first garage sale netted us $483 for the Wellness Community. We were happy to send them that check! The 2nd sale is this coming this Saturday and we hope to sell enough items to make a difference in what we can offer at our Church in the Park on Sunday, June 20th. The ideas are beginning to come together. We’ll need lots of help that day.

Currently our Go M.A.D. projects are gift boxes for Single Moms and the chemo caps. We hope you are continuing to reach out and serve! If you have some ideas for future projects, feel free to offer the suggestions and your help to lead that up.

Chuck G. — Dave's dad, has prostate cancer, please pray for healing.

Lynn S.— pray for recovery from stroke, and proper prescription for her medicine.

Loretta H. — for knee and back pain — the treatments are not helping.
