From the Pastor
By Dave Crouse
Hello Church !
What a fantastic time we had at our “ Church in the Park ” event! We had a great crowd despite the heat! I want to thank everyone who participated in the various areas that was necessary in making the day go well. Way to go church !!
This summer I’m preaching through the book of 1 Peter. The main theme of this letter is…“ How to Keep the Faith through Tough Times!” I believe this series of sermons will be a great encouragement to your faith. See page one for the sermon titles.
Also, as the summer goes on we have a few events that we hope you’ll participate in including some fellowship events as well as a new “GO MAD” (Go Make a Difference) activity. For this outreach we will be collecting backpacks and school supplies to give to children at the local elementary school who can’t afford it. I know all of you will invest in this project and in the kids in our community.
I hope you enjoy your summer and all your various activities but please remember to continue to support the church with your involvement, your offerings, and your attendance!
SEE YOU ON SUNDAY!!
