We’re well into our family campaign to “GET F.I.T.” in 2008-2009!! At CCH we’re all about “ Getting Families Involved Together !” As the fall season zooms ahead let me encourage you to get involved in those things that will strengthen your own family life as well as those things that will connect you to the church family. Here are a few of those events/ministries for October…
Life Study Groups – three studies offered each week ! Our Life Study Groups are small groups that meet during the week to encourage one another and study the scriptures. This is the place where you can get connected to the church family. There is information in the foyer and all the groups are open and available for new members. See the list on page 4.
Family Game Night - Saturday, October 4 th ! We’ll transform our church sanctuary into a gaming room that will include ping pong, bumper pool, a putting green, some video games and more! Bring the family and enjoy a night of fun together! The fun begins at 7:00 p.m. and ends by 9:00!! See page 4 for details.
 Newcomer’s Class – Sunday, October 12 th ! The Newcomer’s Class will help you to meet new people, find out why CCH exists, and answer any questions you may have about the church. We’ll cover such topics as… What it means to be a Christian, information on Baptism and Communion, our Purpose Statement & Faith Statement , what it means to be a member at CCH and more . We’ll meet right after the church service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and we’ll serve a light lunch. Take this next step to joining the CCH family!
Halloween Carnival – Saturday, October  25 th 6:00—8:00 p.m. This is our big fall family outreach event that provides a fun evening for families in our community. We invite the entire community so we need a lot of volunteers to pull it off. See Amber George to get involved and please put this date on your calendar!

All-Church Family Game Night
(for families young and old)
Saturday, October 4, 7-9 p.m.
Come for the fun, stay for the ice cream! We’ll have lots of games (quiet and active) for everyone’s interests.
And we’ll follow that up with ice cream in the Social Hall at 8:15 p.m.
Annual Halloween Carnival 
This community outreach brings 50-70 kids from the area to our parking lot for a ton of fun. It takes a lot of help and resources. Please begin saving your change to help donate toward this great outreach. Date: October 25th, at 6:00 p.m. in the CCH parking lot. It will be a great time… invite your neighbors!!
New—Family Life Study Groups
These adult studies are designed to help you get connected to the church family and support you in your walk with God. Please join a group that works for your schedule and not only will you be blessed, you’ll be a blessing to others!!
